Ingela Svanstrom

U.S.P.T.R. Professional

About Ingela

Ingela’s background is mostly in soccer and tennis.  She coached soccer but switched over to tennis when she moved to the US (from Sweden). After graduating from St Thomas University with a Masters in Human Resource Management she pursued coaching tennis full time.

She coached at Coral Reef Park for 17 years and then ventured out on her own 8 years ago at Ron Ehmann Park. Today, she splits her time between Ron Ehmann Park and JVTennis.

Ingela enjoys teaching kids and adults of all levels.  She says, “there’s nothing more exciting than when you see the changes of improvement in a student.  The growth is not just with their skill….they also grow as a person with more confidence.  I strongly believe that there is something positive in everyone’s ability no matter how little experience the student might have.”

She is thrilled to be working with your children and being a part of JVTennis and Ron Ehmann Park.

Tony Multidor

U.S.P.T.A. Professional

About Tony

In March 2014, I joined the JVTennis Team where I was introduced to the 10 & Under QuickStart tennis initiative. The introduction of slower bouncing red, orange and green dot tennis balls was a rejuvenating experience which made me very enthusiastic about instructing and coaching again.

I have been around the game and the sport of tennis since the age of 9. My achievements began in my home country of Haiti, where I was ranked #1 in each 14, 16, and 18 and under age divisions. At 15, I was ranked #4 in the National Men’s Open division and member of the National Davis Cup team.

I moved to Florida at 16 to attend Palmer Academy at Saddlebrook Resort. I attended high school and trained for 2 years under the world-renowned Harry Hopman coaching staff.

After high school, I attended Barry University, where I played on the Men’s tennis team for 4 years. I was ranked #4 in NCAA Division II. I received MVP, All-American and other accolades at the #4 Singles and #1 Doubles positions.

Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, I began coaching. I worked for 10 years as the Head Professional at Doral Golf & Spa Resort, working with players of all ages and abilities.

I’m happy to be back to continue with the growth and development of our future tennis stars.
